Avila Beach is situated in a protected cove of California's Central Coast. Southward facing and located just seven miles north of Pismo Beach and seven miles south of San Luis Obispo, Avila has some of the warmest, finest beach weather on the Central Coast. Avila Beach showcases a 1,685 foot wooden pier for strolling and recreational fishing which ends in newly renovated beach front shops and dining. Avila also sports a championship 18-hole golf course that traverses oak-lined valleys and a tidal estuary.

happens every Friday during the summer. Avila is also near the apple orchards of See Canyon and just minutes from
Avila Valley Barn, which offers a variety of locally grown food and baked goods as well as a petting zoo of
farm animals the kids can feed.Nearby Port San Luis presents more fine dining, van tours of the Point San Luis Lighthouse, sport fishing excursions and hiking. Old Porte Inn was voted one of the best seafood restaurants in the area and is situated at the end of Harbor Pier where you can watch sea lions swim, the stunning sunset or the sun-soaked coastline.
