If you think that you’ve seen one farmer’s market, you’ve seen them all-think again. The Avila Beach Fish and Farmer’s Market offers more than just fresh produce and fish. Held on the promenade on Avila Beach on Friday nights from 4:00pm to 8:00pm, this farmer’s market features live music in addition to contests and give away sponsored by local businesses. It’s one of the many family friendly events in Avila and if you’re around on a Friday night it’s definitely something to go see. Every August, in conjunction with the Farmer’s Market, there is also a beach volley ball tournament.
