i. Sycamore Springs
Nothing is more relaxing than spending some time soaking in hot mineral springs. The natural minerals in a hot springs pool is rich in hydrogen sulfide gas, known to aid in a variety of ailments. However, people flock to this natural resort not only for their hot tubs but for the natural beauty surrounding the hill side spas.

Each tub is located in the outdoors on a hillside. While most tubs accommodate two people, Sycamore Springs does have pools that will accommodate more including the “Oasis” a fresh water spring hot tub for 30 people.

Anyone (not just guests of the hotel) can rent hot tubs by the hour and for the best deal, go during the week when hot tub rental is only $12.50 per person, per hour. During weekend peak hours, the hot tubs go for $17.50 per person per hour. In addition, Sycamore Springs also offers a “hot tub pass card” which can save frequent visitors quite a bit of money.

Reservations are strongly recommended and can fill up quickly, especially on the weekends. However, the friendly staff at Sycamore Springs does attempt to accommodate walk-ins as much as possible. Swimsuits are option in the hot tubs and towels can be rented on the premises.

ii. Avila Hot Springs Resort
Avila Hot Springs Resort bills itself as a family oriented swimming resort. For the person who is looking to dip into the natural springs, a day visit to Avila Hot Springs is comfortable and relaxing. They offer both a mineral springs hot tub and a fresh water larger swimming pool. Swimming costs $6 per day however, you can also buy the monthly pass for $34. On most days they are open from 7am to 9pm and they stay open an hour later on Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. If you visit on a Wednesday or Saturday, make sure to check out the movie night.

If you’re looking to just get away overnight, Avila Hot Springs offers a variety of camping options including tent, RV and cabin. In addition there’s a restaurant right on site. However, you do not need to be a guest there to use their pool facilities.
